Nature's Best Cleaners
Many dry cleaners claim they are 'organic'. Did you know the 'organic' material used in their cleaning
process is petroleum based? Although technically organic, this carbon-based material creates hazardous
waste, green house emission and is also contributes to smog.

Nature's Best Cleaners' technology is applauded by the California Pollution Prevention
Center
which awarded this state-of-the-art green dry cleaners a $10,000 grant!

On February 3rd, the Urban & Environmental Policy  Institute held a workshop at Nature's  Best Cleaners to
highlight this environmentally sound cleaning process. The Pollution Prevention Center director Peter
Sinsheimer and specialist Hans Kim came to explain how this new system does the highest quality cleaning.
The KQED Public Radio Science/Environment Reporter Amy Standen reported on the workshop. The story will
air on Friday, Feb 29, 2008 twice: 6:30 am and 8:30 am on FM 88.5. You will also find it online after that day:
